On Saturday I decided to makeover our medicine cabinet. There was an accumulation of items we don’t use on a daily basis plus some items I kept under the sink that I used a lot; hence the need for some purging and reorganizing.
I looked on Pinterest (of course) for come inspiration. First I took everything out and cleaned the inside of the cabinet to add some contact paper. I ordered this black chalkboard contact paper; it was really easy to measure and cut the paper. First I was only going to do the inside but then I decided to paste some on the inside of the cabinet door also.
I used jars I already had to decanter small items or anything that didn’t have a container. The little basket is for the small items (nail clippers, tweezers, etc.). I put all my daily makeup in my makeup bag and all other makeup items in another bag under the sink. All medicines I moved to a drawer unit I have under the sink.
It was such a simple and powerful change. I wish I would have done it sooner.
